Calendar: Today the calendar routine was led by Gianni!

Recess 1/Lunch

Art: The students learned about how you can make different lines in art. We created our own art by picking four lines to draw on our paper and colour in the different sections made by the lines.

Math:  The students practiced the number poems from 6 to 10, put the numbers in their correct order and  practiced writing and counting 6 to 10 at their desks. 

Recess 2/Snack
Unit of Inquiry: The students reviewed transportation that travels on land. Today, students focused on different road signs that these land transportation have to follow. We learned about street lights, the stop sign, school crossing sign and more. Then, at our desks, we made our own street lights!

Unit of Inquiry: The students reviewed different kinds of transportation that travels on land. Today, we focused on the train and watched a video about the steam train. 

Then, we watched another video on a boy, Daniel Cook, who learned how to drive a train.

Next, we sorted out transportation from land and air.

Recess 2/Snack
The students had so much fun with the snow today! They worked together to make a snow fort!

Math:  The students practiced the number poems from 6 to 10 and practiced writing and counting 6 to 10 at their desks.
